CICOM ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our Instagram integration feature, which displays your store's latest Instagram posts as banner slides on your CICOM online shop.

1. Information We Collect

When you connect your Instagram Business account through our integration, we collect the following information via the Instagram Graph API:

• Media Information: Post ID, caption, media type (image, video, or carousel), media URL, permalink, and timestamp of your 15 most recent Instagram posts.
• Basic Profile Information: Username, profile picture, and account ID of the connected Instagram Business account.
• Facebook Page Information: The list of Facebook Pages you manage, used solely to identify the Instagram Business account linked to your Page during the one-time connection setup.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• To display your latest Instagram posts as a banner gallery on your CICOM online shop homepage.
• To identify and connect your Instagram Business account during the one-time admin setup.
• To improve and optimize our integration services.

3. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data. Instagram media data is fetched server-side and cached for up to 24 hours within our on-premise servers located in the United States.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your Instagram data with third parties except:

• With your explicit consent.
• If required by law or to comply with legal processes.
• To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You can disconnect your Instagram account from our service at any time through the Shop Admin panel. Upon disconnection, we will stop fetching your Instagram media and remove the cached data from our servers. If you wish to request the deletion of data previously collected through our Instagram integration, please refer to our Data Deletion Instructions or contact us at the email provided below.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
